Verona for art history lovers. This live virtual tour takes us back in time to the beginning of Verona’s spirituality. We’ll begin in a place for peaceful meditation which will lead us to the magnificent façade of the Duomo, Verona’s Cathedral. A spiritual “book in stone” for the faithful, we will analyze fascinating architectural details of the cathedral and uncover the symbolic and practical reasons behind them. Walking through the quiet streets, we’ll reach the Roman bridge at Ponte Pietra which boasts over 2000 years of service. Crossing the Adige River - a blessing and curse for Verona at different times - we’ll enjoy the picturesque hillside where the city originated in ancient times. The last stop will be St. Stephen’s Church, a feast for curious eyes that keeps traces of the important events - right on the stones themselves!
