Whether it’s heritage and cultural diversity, history and conquests, or food, art, and religion, Jaffa has something for everyone! Join me on a livestream virtual walking tour in this city that has been conquered by many peoples, each leaving their mark on its landscape and culture. Our first stop will be at the famous clock tower, where we will journey back in time to witness how ancient and new architecture have been interlaced into a fascinating patchwork of history. Exploring the bustling avenues and narrow streets of Old Jaffa, taking in the sights and sounds of this glorious city, we’ll stop at several landmark sites, including the Mahmoudiya Mosque, The Gates of Faith, the Astrological Bridge, and St. Peter’s Church. Taking in the friendly and vibrant atmosphere, we’ll arrive at the old port that has seen centuries of conquests and is now enjoyed by locals and tourists for its beautiful green paths and breathtaking sea views.
